Here is a little anecdote before I leave home and head to work.
This year, winter in Paris has been exceptionally warm . We had until the end of January temperatures near 60°F (15°C). No scarves, no caps, no gloves and the heater turned off.
People were starting to question if we were ever going to get any winter this year and started to think that we won't have it.
It's amusing how mother nature can quickly go the opposite way.
While we had exceptionally high temperatures so far, it only took two days in order to shift from Florida to Antartica !!
The temperature dropped from 60°F (15°C) to 15°F (-9°C) in 48 hours time.
It now feels like the Noth Pole out there , and we have an exceptionally cold winter.
What does this have to do with markets ?
Sometimes when it comes back, it comes back with a vengeance !!!
See ya at the opening bell.
